The food here is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. Service is fast, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. What more could you ask for? I’m so glad I discovered this gem!

What a pleasant surprise. We found this as we were walking in the area looking for a place for brunch. The place is settled in a beautiful location and the food was more than we expected. Everything was freshly made, and the presentation was very nice. Highly recommend this place for ambience and quality of food.

Sitting in the shady courtyard, you could be anywhere in the world. Nathalie is a passionate hostess and her energy is infectious! Food offerings change every day - always different, always fresh! Stop here, you won't be disappointed. ( in the photo- my breakfast, in the background- chicken and chicken livers for my cat!)

I love this place, the cheese toastie excellent and the milkshakes are perfect. The pool is so refreshing and so nice to be in. The people are super friendly and like to start conversations. So from me it gets 5/5 ⭐ Ps: better take your swimming costume with, to go in to the pool.

OMG a super chill and relaxing spot with some of the best food we had in Cape Town. The coffee milk shake and the kudu burger were off the charts fresh and flavorful. A true hidden gem

The staff is very welcoming, the ambiance is just cool and cozy, and the food is a fairy tale to enjoy. We ordered the cheese with caramelized onion toast, and the Avo sandwich, both were perfectly prepared and served.. I highly recommend visiting the place..

The Pool Café in Cape Town This place is truly a hidden gem and such a lovely spot! If you’re looking for a relaxing breakfast or light lunch in a calm and cozy atmosphere, you need to check it out. I’ve been here three times (in Nov./Dec. 24) already, and here’s why: 1. All-Day Breakfast & Delicious Menu They serve all-day breakfast with a variety of tasty options: egg dishes, burgers, avocado toast, muesli, smoothies, juices—you name it! The menu may seem small, but they’re super accommodating. If you want a specific egg dish, just ask! For example, I highly recommend their omelette with avocado, feta, and crispy bacon—it’s perfection. 2. Coffee with a Twist If you’re not a fan of sweet café lattes, I’d suggest skipping the honey or sweetener. But if you love a little sweetness in your coffee, you’ll really enjoy it. 3. Poolside Vibes Yes, there’s an actual pool here! You can easily access it to cool off and chill. While I personally avoid direct sun and didn’t use the pool, it’s a fantastic feature if you’re looking to relax and refresh. Bonus: There’s no poolside service, which I see as a plus! You can enjoy the pool without feeling pressured to keep ordering. And if you do want something, it’s only a few steps away. Final Thoughts Whether you’re here for the great food, the coffee, or the pool, The Pool Café offers a tranquil escape in Cape Town. Definitely worth a visit!
